I am looking for the easiest and most generic way
to determine:
System model/class
Number of cpu's
Clock speed of cpu's (ie 550 MHz)
Total Physical Memory (not virtual)
Number of Drives/Drive Size

the output of the machinfo command tell you "no of cpu" i want to know no of cpu is the number of cores or number of cpu
for example
cpu info
2 Intel(R) Itanium 2 processors (1.6 GHz, 6 MB)
400 MT/s bus, CPU version A2
is that mean we have 2 cpus = 4 core cause it is dual... (1 Reply)
