CD5(1) General Commands Manual CD5(1)NAME
CD5 - Compute checksum of individual track on CD-ROMS
SYNOPSIS
cd5
DESCRIPTION
CD-ROM Digest is a program that checks a multi-track CD-ROM. It reports the MD5 digest and size for each track on a CD-ROM. The digest is
done as the track is read, without dumping CD-ROM data on the hard drive. This tool helps users that are burning a multi-track CD-ROM to
check the result.
KNOWN PROBLEMS
Currently, cd5 uses /dev/cdrom as CD-ROM device, and you can't change it.
Tracks are often bigger than the data written inside. The program will report an error at the end of the data, but the checksum and the
size will be good.

SDL_CDOpen - Opens a CD-ROM drive for access.
SYNOPSIS
#include "SDL.h"
SDL_CD *SDL_CDOpen(int drive);
DESCRIPTION
Opens a CD-ROM drive for access. It returns a SDL_CD structure on success, or NULL if the drive was invalid or busy. This newly opened CD-
ROM becomes the default CD used when other CD functions are passed a NULL CD-ROM handle.
Drives are numbered starting with 0. Drive 0 is the system default CD-ROM.
EXAMPLES
SDL_CD *cdrom;
int cur_track;
int min, sec, frame;
SDL_Init(SDL_INIT_CDROM);
atexit(SDL_Quit);
/* Check for CD drives */
if(!SDL_CDNumDrives()){
/* None found */
fprintf(stderr, "No CDROM devices available
");
exit(-1);
}
/* Open the default drive */
cdrom=SDL_CDOpen(0);
/* Did if open? Check if cdrom is NULL */
if(!cdrom){
fprintf(stderr, "Couldn't open drive: %s
", SDL_GetError());
exit(-1);
}
/* Print Volume info */
printf("Name: %s
", SDL_CDName(0));
printf("Tracks: %d
", cdrom->numtracks);
for(cur_track=0;cur_track < cdrom->numtracks; cur_track++){
FRAMES_TO_MSF(cdrom->track[cur_track].length, &min, &sec, &frame);
printf(" Track %d: Length %d:%d
", cur_track, min, sec);
}
SDL_CDClose(cdrom);

Hey,
Just added a new UserCP option so you can change the code tags to look like the code tags in this example (turn this on and off):
Note: I set the default to "SyntaxHighlighting" for debugging purposes. We can change the default back to the original code tags later.

I have replaced some of the original content of the ps output.

Hi,
Does anyone know how to have a similar output like below on Solaris without using column?
The output below is on Linux that uses the column and there is no column command in Solaris.
