exim2dlf - convert exim logfiles to dlf format
SYNOPSIS
exim2dlf
DESCRIPTION
exim2dlf converts a Exim logfile to DLF format. Information on the exim Mail Transport Agent can be found on http://www.exim.org/ . The
generic email dlf format is described in email.xml.
EXAMPLES
To process a log as produced by Exim
$ exim2dlf < mail.log
exim2dlf will be rarely used on its own, but is more likely called by lr_log2report:
$ lr_log2report exim < /var/log/mail.log

xferlog2dlf - convert FTP logs in xferlog format to DLF format
SYNOPSIS
xferlog2dlf
DESCRIPTION
This script reads an FTP logfile in xferlog format. Most FTP servers use this format, among these are ProFTPD, WU-FTPD.
EXAMPLES
To process a log as produced in the xferlog format:
$ xferlog2dlf < ftp.log
xferlog2dlf will be rarely used on its own, but is more likely called by lr_log2report:
$ lr_log2report xferlog < /var/log/ftp.log

ok i have exim installed on my redhat 8.0 server
the exim dir is:
/usr/local/exim
and the mail queue is:
/var/spool/exim_mail
this is what the mail queue looks like:

the problem is, mail stays there, where is it meant to go???

My user claims that some of her email disappeared. I went through the mail log and it seems that she deleted the messages herself from home via webmail.
Here are the entries in the mail log:
