ib_rdma_lat - RDM latency test
SYNOPSIS
ib_rdma_lat [ options ] [ server IP address ]
DESCRIPTION
This program tests the latency of RMDA write transactions.
OPTIONS -p, --port=<port>
listen on/connect to port <port> (default: 18515)
-d, --ib-dev=<dev>
use IB device <dev> (default: first device found)
-i, --ib-port=<port>
use port <port> of IB device (default: 1)
-s, --size=<size>
size of message to exchange (default: 65536)
-t, --tx-depth=<dep>
size of tx queue (default 100)
-n, --iters=<iters>
number of exchanges (at least 2, default: 1000)
-I, --inline_size=<size>
max size of message to be sent in inline mode (default 400)
-C, --report-cycles
report times in cpu cycle units (default microseconds)
-H, --report-histogram
print out all results (default print summary only)
-U, --report-unsorted
(implies -H) print out unsorted results (default sorted)
-c, --cma
use the RDMA CMA to setup the RDMA connection
-V, --version
display version number

mtu size (default: 1024)

run sizes from 2 till 2^23
-t, --tx-depth=<dep>

Please help urgently.
I need to setup up some sort of service on a solaris server on a port.
I dont need it do anything special, anything that is sent to this port from an external server should be dump to /dev/null or a flat file..

when i connecting an usb device to a ubuntu box. i know its on /dev/ttyUSB0 port from dmesg. and i can do simple command with minicom connect to the port.
however when i connecting the same usb device to solaris 10 platform and i do dmesg. i get

What does the number is the square brackets signify? I thought it meant port but the port number in the message is different from that number.

Hi Guys,
I have SMC 3 port print server would liek to create 3 queues for each port , please advice what port name or number should be used while creating the quues , I have hpjetdirect and I have tried raw1, raw2 and raw3 on it and it works but it doesnt work for SMC , please advice.
