ttf2afm - utility to generate AFM files for TrueType fonts
SYNOPSIS
ttf2afm [OPTIONS] FONTFILE
DESCRIPTION
ttf2afm is used to generate Adobe Font Metrics (AFM) files for TrueType (TTF) fonts to allow them to be used with TeX.
ttf2afm takes the name of a TrueType font file as a required argument. It may also take one or more options from the list below (note that
-d and -h are mutually exclusive).
OPTIONS -a print all glyphs
-i read names in encoding vector in form `indexnum'
-d print glyph names in the form `indexdecimal_num'
-h print glyph names in the form `indexhex_num'
-c name
print encoding tables to file name.eMN, where M is the platform number and N is the encoding
-e enc use encoding from file enc
-o output
output to file output instead of stdout
Platform numbers can be one of
0 Apple Unicode
1 Macintosh
2 ISO
3 Microsoft
Encodings can be
0 Roman (if platform is Macintosh)
0 Symbol (if platform is Microsoft)
1 Unicode (if platform is Microsoft)

SYNOPSIS
texlinks [ OPTIONS... ] DIRECTORIES...
DESCRIPTION
texlinks is used to create or recreate symbolic links from formats to engines according to the information in fmtutil.cnf or a file speci-
fied with --cnffile.
DIRECTORIES is an optional list of directories in which to operate. If no directories are specified the list of directories depends on the
--multiplatform option.
OPTIONS --cnffile FILE or -f FILE
use file as configuration file (default: fmtutil.cnf)
--help or -h
show some help text
--multiplatform or -m
operate in all platform-specific directories (default: operate only in the directory for this platform)
--silent or -s
silently skip over existing scripts/binaries instead of printing a warning
--unlink or -u
Unlink previously created symlinks
--verbose or -v
+set verbose mode on (default: off)

where $i is the file name passed in a loop.
I need to change the file's print fonts to "Verdana and the Size = 10"

I'am are working on Unix platform.
It requires for me to present the certain unix files in Microsoft word.
Is conversion of a Unix ".out" file to Microsoft word feasible?????

To correct most of the problems with this language, How do I remove the DOS and WORD stuff from it? These come from the fact that it was written on those with a Microsoft supplied platform at the writers request. (1 Reply)

How to remove only line 3 ???
