NAME
getsigname - choose a signal name in alias list ORIGIN
This software belongs to the ALLIANCE CAD SYSTEM developed by the ASIM team at LIP6 laboratory of Universite Pierre et Marie CURIE, in Paris, France. Web : http://asim.lip6.fr/recherche/alliance/ E-mail : alliance-users@asim.lip6.fr SYNOPSYS
#include "mlo.h" char *getsigname(ptsig) losig_list *ptsig; PARAMETER
ptsig Pointer to losig_list DESCRIPTION
The getsigname function choose the higher hierachical level name of the alias list of a signal. The alias list is pointer to by the NAMECHAIN pointer of the losig structure, and contains zero or more names corresponding to the signal. Since the signal may result from a flatten, instance names may be concatenated to the actual signal name. RETURN VALUE
getsigname returns the higher hierachy level name, if ptsig->NAMECHAIN is not NULL, else a name constructed with the signal INDEX is returned. EXAMPLE
#include "mlo.h" void print_signame(p) losig_list *p; { fprintf(stdout, "signal name : %s ", getsigname(p)); } SEE ALSO
