The following exceptions are defined:
*) NotHashRef - the parameter is not a hash reference
*) Mirror::Config - error in configuration of the mirror
*) Mirror::Inactive - the mirror is not active
*) Mirror::InProgress - the mirror is in progress
*) Mirror::Many - the criteria used to select the mirror, matches multiple mirrors
*) Command::FileNotFound - command file name was not found

DESCRIPTION
RoPkg::Simba::Excludes is a class used to count and get the excludes from the database.

SUBROUTINES /METHODS
new()
The class constructor. At this moment, it just calls RoPkg::DBObject->new() . Please read the RoPkg::DBObject manual page for more
information about the new() parameters.
Count($fields)
Returns the number of excludes from database. The $fields parameter contains a list of WHERE clauses. For more details of $fields see
SQL::Abstract.
Get($fields, $orderby)
Returns a array of RoPkg::Simba::exclude list objects. The excludes are read from the database. The $fields parameter contains a list of
WHERE clauses. For more details of $fields see SQL::Abstract. $orderby is a reference to a array holding the fields specification used for
sorting the data.

I am gonna buy a dedicated server and make it a public mirror for some distributions.
but how much RAM, Hard Disk, Band Width, ... will suffice? It will be a mirror for CentOS and Ubuntu both. (3 Replies)
IBM recommend not to mirror the dump lv, I am assuming they are referring to mirroring as part of rootvg for example.
What if I moved the primary dump device to an external SAN disk and mirrored it at a SAN level?

I've just finish configuration LSI - created RAID 1 mirror from ILOM (Sparc T4-2) yesterday. However, when I check it today, I find:

... Mirroring...
and the led of disks are not lighting.
So, how do I confirm the progressing is finish or not?

BAsed on the below I would like to verifu two things
(1) The udnerlying mirroris for '/mnt' na dit onlcy contaisne 1 sub-mirror, with one sliceon is one disk and hence, data loss on the mount point (the mount point, '/mnt' is backed up)
(2) the Procedure for renewal

I have two hdisk in Power7 machine, the rootvg on hdisk0.
So to make a disk redundancy should make mirror or alt_clone and what is the different.
