DESCRIPTION
This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
A free environment for regular expression testing (ferret). It allowsyou to write regexes and test them against a sample text, providing
extensive output about the results. It is useful for several purposes:
- exploring and understanding the structure of match objects generated by the re module, making Kiki a valuable tool for people new to
regexes.
- testing regexes on sample text before deploying them in code.
OPTIONS
This program does not take any command line options.

py_xls2txt - convert an Excel xls file to a plain text file

py_xls2txt input-file
DESCRIPTION
This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
py_xls2txt takes an Excel xls file as an argument and converts it to a plain text file. Output is sent to stdout.
Additional utility scripts can be found in the tools/ directory.

need perl script to get a comprehend statistic of network activity in a LAN.
The purpose is to get each indivisual data usages statistics so that I can determine who is doing the network congestion in terms of bandwidth usages both in real time and retrospectively..

Hi all,
I have to grant sudo permission to a user.
I have searched online and find that /etc/sudoers file needs to be changed with visudo command. As i am new to linux, this is not clear to me. Can anybody take an example and show me how exactly this done.

Hi,
I need to correct line breaks for huge files (more than 1MM records in a file) and then format it properly.
Except the header and trailer, each record starts with 'D'.
Requirement:Scan the whole file except the header and trailer records and see if any of the records start with... (19 Replies)
if different branch code is available for same BIC code and one of the branch code is XXX.only one row will be stored and with branch code as XXX .rest of the rows for the BIC code will not be stored.

i want to kill a tcp connection by killing its pid
with netstat -an i got the tcp ip connection on port 5914
but when i type ps -a or ps-e there is not such process running on port 5914
