DESCRIPTION
The oosiop driver provides support for the Symbios/NCR 53C700 SCSI controller chip.
For the Symbios/NCR 53C710 SCSI host adapters, use the osiop(4) driver.
For the Symbios/NCR 53C8xx PCI SCSI host adapters, use the siop(4) or esiop(4) driver.

oosiop driver first appeared in NetBSD 2.0.

The oosiop driver was originally written by Shuichiro URATA for the arc port. Izumi Tsutsui modified the driver to make it really machine
independent for hp700.

Hi,
I have a SCO Openserver 5.0.5 server running RAID5 on the hp NETRAID-1M controller and it works just fine.
However, I cannot add a tape drive in. The standard SCSI card is a Symbios and I am using the 'slha' driver, but the system doesnt see the adaptor at SCO startup. The adaptor and... (1 Reply)
Hi,
I have installed a SCSI Controller onto an HPUX 10.20b and I don't have any driver files for it when I check in Sys Admin. Do I need to update the kernel? I am not sure how to get the computer to recognize this controller... any suggestions?

I have an NCR Woldmark 4400 MP Ras, OS 3.02.
When logged on from a pc via Reflections for Unix, if I
type in "who am i" the response is blank. If I log in via
dumb terminal and type "who am i" the system returns
my system id.
Any ideas on what I am missing?

I am using NCR Unix, with a progress database.
There are files that suddenly appear that are compiled (*.r) and I can't figure out where they are comming from.
Is there any way I can uncompile them? That way, I can possibly read them and find out where they are comming from?

I've just inherited the support of 3 NCR Servers running NCR MP-RAS 3.02 UNIX OS and it looks as though the previous support analyst (who as left the company) has kindly changed all 3 root passwords.
