NAME
elf_getbase - get the base offset for an object file SYNOPSIS
cc [ flag ... ] file ... -lelf [ library ... ] #include <libelf.h> off_t elf_getbase(Elf *elf); DESCRIPTION
The elf_getbase() function returns the file offset of the first byte of the file or archive member associated with elf, if it is known or obtainable, and -1 otherwise. A null elf is allowed, to simplify error handling; the return value in this case is -1. The base offset of an archive member is the beginning of the member's information, not the beginning of the archive member header. ATTRIBUTES

Shopt -s histappend

What is the point of this? Whenever I close my shell it appends to the history file without adding this. I have never seen it overwrite my history file. # When the shell exits, append to the history file instead of overwriting it shopt -s histappend (3 Replies)
