ofonod(8) System Manager's Manual ofonod(8)NAME
ofonod - oFono mobile telephony daemon
SYNOPSIS
ofonod [options]
DESCRIPTION
ofonod is a daemon which provides an oFono stack for interfacing mobile telephony devices. oFono is controlled through D-Bus; for example,
one can tell ofonod to send AT commands over /dev/rfcomm0 by calling the D-Bus method org.ofono.at.Manager.Create. /etc/dbus-1/sys-
tem.d/ofono.conf is used to manage D-Bus permissions for oFono.
OPTIONS --debug, -d
Enable debug information output. Note multiple arguments to -d can be specified, colon, comma or space separated. The arguments are
relative source code filenames for which debugging output should be enabled; output shell-style globs are accepted (e.g.: "plug-
ins/*:src/main.c").
--nodetach, -n
Don't run as daemon in background.

libdbus-glib-1 - D-Bus GLib bindings
DESCRIPTION
D-Bus is a message bus system, a simple way for applications to talk to one another.
D-Bus supplies both a system daemon (for events such as "new hardware device added" or "printer queue changed") and a per-user-login-ses-
sion daemon (for general IPC needs among user applications). Also, the message bus is built on top of a general one-to-one message passing
framework, which can be used by any two apps to communicate directly (without going through the message bus daemon).
The D-Bus API isn't finished yet, and the design is by no means set in stone. One of our main goals is for lots of projects to use it, so
if you wouldn't use it, by all means mail us and say why - design, licensing, indentation style, we would rather know than not know.
